Richelle Kidder is the Associate Director of NOCHE, where she is responsible for developing the organization's public policy strategy, overseeing communication with stakeholders, and coordinating program and development opportunities.
Richelle joined NOCHE in June 2008 after working for the Cleveland Foodbank. In her role at the Foodbank, Richelle developed a new program for the organization-advocacy and public education-that received national recognition for its advocacy efforts. Guided by this program, the Foodbank obtained increases in its state funding (18% increase in the 2008-2009 State of Ohio budget) and federal support (79% increase through the federal Farm Bill) in 2007 and 2008.
Richelle received her Bachelor of Arts in political science, with honors in the liberal arts, from The Ohio State University. She obtained her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from University of Houston Law Center. During her undergraduate studies, Richelle served as a Legislative Page for the Ohio House of Representatives.
